Tony Ortega, executive editor of The Raw Story, covered for Jamie DeWolf, the great grandson of L. Ron Hubbard, founder of the Church of Scientology. DeWolf was involved in a car accident and was not able to participate. Nonetheless, Ortega did a magnificent job taking us deep inside Scientology; its beginnings, phases, and where it stands today. He`s currently working on a book about the church, and while he toils away on it he continues to monitor breaking developments around the world from an undisclosed location in an underground bunker he shares with four cats and one of them wrinkly Shar Pei dogs. Ortega is working with London-based literary agent and publisher Humfrey Hunter on a book about the controversial aspects of Scientology. Hunter told Capital, an online newspaper, "It will be one of the great books about Scientology and I fully expect all the big New York publishers to be after it.
