Tonight on Veritas, our special guest is Christopher Dunn, a visionary engineer whose groundbreaking research has transformed our understanding of ancient technologies. It's been nine years since Christopher last joined us, and in that time, he has continued to captivate the world with his revolutionary theory that the Great Pyramid of Giza was not merely a tomb, but an advanced energy-harvesting machine, designed with a sophistication that challenges our modern understanding. In his latest book, Giza: The Tesla Connection, Christopher uncovers a remarkable link between the genius of Nikola Tesla and the ancient Egyptians, suggesting that these ancient builders may have mastered principles of energy generation far beyond their time. In this compelling work, Christopher presents evidence that the Great Pyramid was engineered to harness the natural energies of the Earth, using the science of acoustics and seismic forces in ways that predate modern civilization by centuries. Picture a world where the secrets of clean, sustainable energy have been hidden within the stones of Giza for thousands of years, awaiting rediscovery. Tonight, we'll explore these groundbreaking concepts, diving deep into the profound connection between ancient wisdom and modern science. We'll uncover the astonishing possibilities that arise when we consider what these ancient technologies could mean for our present and future. Could the answers to our energy challenges lie in the forgotten knowledge of a civilization long past?
Christopher Dunn is a distinguished craftsman and engineer with a rich career spanning over five decades. Born in Manchester, England, he began his professional journey as an indentured apprentice before being recruited by an aerospace manufacturing company. In 1969, Christopher immigrated to the United States, where he has since held numerous roles in high-tech manufacturing, including machinist, toolmaker, programmer, operator of high-power industrial lasers, project engineer, and laser operations manager. For the past 16 years, he has served as the Human Resource Director for a leading aerospace manufacturer in the Midwest. Christopher's fascination with the pyramids began in 1977 after reading Peter Tompkins' Secrets of the Great Pyramid. Intrigued by the precision and design of the Great Pyramid, he hypothesized that its original purpose might differ from conventional views. Through extensive research and study, Christopher proposed that the Great Pyramid was originally built as a sophisticated machine designed to provide energy to a highly advanced society. His groundbreaking book, The Giza Power Plant: Technologies of Ancient Egypt, published in 1998, details this theory and describes the pyramid as a holistic energy device harmonically coupled with the Earth. An accomplished author and researcher, Christopher has published over a dozen magazine articles, including the widely cited "Advanced Machining in Ancient Egypt" in Analog (August 1984). His work has been referenced in numerous books on Egypt, and he has made multiple television appearances on networks such as PAX Television, the Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, Lifetime Television, and most recently, the History Channel's Ancient Aliens. Christopher's second book, Lost Technologies of Ancient Egypt: Advanced Engineering in the Temples of the Pharaohs, delves deeper into the manufacturing capabilities of the ancient Egyptians. Through his engineer's eye and meticulous research, he reveals previously overlooked aspects of Egyptian architectural and manufacturing prowess. His latest book, Giza: The Tesla Connection: Acoustical Science and the Harvesting of Clean Energy, continues his exploration of ancient technologies, proposing groundbreaking theories on how the ancients might have harnessed natural energy sources.
